We will always know Galarraga pitched the 21st perfect game in MLB history and the third this season. Regardless of whatever decision is ultimately made on the bad call, both the player and the umpire have shown exemplary sportsmanship, honesty and integrity. Sometimes life just isn’t fair and bad things happen to good people.
